The National Association For Shoplifting Prevention is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals struggling with a shoplifting problem.  The SA Course for adults and the Y.E.S. Program for juveniles are comprehensive, "offence-specific" educational programs that help participants identify the feelings, thoughts and actions which led them to shoplift and help them make better choices for themselves and their future.  Both programs are available through the Walker County Children's Policy Council and the cost of enrollment is 75.00.

The SA Course and Y.E.S. program consist of:

  • 4-5 hour Home-Study segment (presented on 2 audio CDs and a Workbook that the participant keeps)

  • One day workshop/class segment

  • Free on-going support services from NASP which include:

  • Toll-free telephone help-line & referral to a local therepist
